Our story
A community deserving better. A gap nobody had filled properly.
Tiamo was founded by people who saw families with additional mobility needs being let down — by clinical equipment, by inflated prices, and by a design world that had simply looked the other way.

Look at the market for specialist pushchairs and you quickly see the same thing: a community of families doing everything they can for their children, being handed equipment that looks and feels like it belongs in a hospital corridor. Clinical. Institutional. Designed to a medical specification, with no thought given to how it might feel to push it through a school gate or a busy high street.
We came to this space with experience in product and retail — not as parents of children with additional needs, but as people who could see a gap so obvious it was almost hard to believe nobody had filled it properly. Families supporting children with mobility needs up to the age of twelve. A market caught between expensive NHS-grade equipment costing thousands and budget alternatives that sacrifice quality and dignity alike. And absolutely nothing in between that felt like it had been designed with genuine care for how these families actually live.
“The gap wasn’t in the technology. It was in the thinking.”
So we set about filling it. We spoke to families. We listened to what they actually wanted — not just clinical function, but a pushchair they felt proud to use. One that looked like the premium lifestyle product it should be. One that worked for the school run, the supermarket, the weekend away. One that cost what it ought to cost, not what the market had been allowed to charge because families felt they had no alternative.
Tiamo means I love you in Italian. We chose that name deliberately — because this brand is built around the conviction that every child deserves to be seen as a child first, and every family deserves equipment that reflects how much they care. That’s not a personal story. It’s a principle. And it drives every decision we make.
What we stand for
01 — Dignity by design
Every detail of the Vita is designed so your child is seen as a child — not as their mobility needs. Premium materials, lifestyle aesthetics, a considered finish.
02 — Built for real life
School runs, supermarkets, holidays. The Vita is light, agile, and folds in one motion — because family life doesn’t slow down, and neither should you.
03 — Honest pricing
Clinical alternatives cost £1,000–£3,000. We think that’s wrong. At £239, the Vita delivers genuine quality without the institutional price tag.

What this means for your family
The Tiamo Vita supports children aged 3–12 with additional mobility needs, up to 50 kg. It looks like a premium lifestyle pushchair, because it is one.
One purchase. Years of use. And a child who gets to be a kid first, wherever life takes you.
